Langley go three unbeaten with Eversley & California win

East Berkshire side Langley made it three Combined Counties League Division One games without defeat on Saturday with an important 2-1 win at Eversley & California thanks to goals from Dimitris Savva and Antonio Dennis.

The Slough side have beaten top-half sides Eversley and Berks County in their last two games, and picked up a point at home to Cove to mark a significant improvement in the clubs form after a tough start to the season that yielded three draws from the opening six league fixtures.

Speaking of Berks County, the Swords were held to a 2-2 draw at home to British Airways with Luke Hayden and Ebby Opoku-Ware on the scoresheet while Wallingford Town and Sandhurst Town played out a 0-0 draw at Hithercroft.

The final game involving a Berkshire side saw AFC Aldermaston beaten 6-1 by Hilltop, Rupen Limbu scoring for the Atom Men.
