Despite appalling weather conditions this weekend all but seven games survived postponement in the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League.
FC Fernhill progressed to the third round of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup, dispatching Langley Galaxy by 5-2. Raglan’s second round tie against FC Meta fell to the weather and will now be played next weekend.
Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW secured the last berth in the League Senior Cup 2nd round by beating Winkfield 3-2.
Bracknell Rangers debuted in the Aldershot Invitational Cup by beating Ash United 3-1 through goals by Ryan Martin, George Lock and Ollie Noyes.

A returning Ben Poynter netted twice for Loveman United, who were denied their first win in the Premier Division as Crowthorne Inn equalised late-on to draw the game 2-2. Inn missed the chance to go top with that draw. Elsewhere, Morale Madrid and Berks County shared the points following their 3-3 draw.
The game between the top two of Sandhurst FFC and Woodley Saints in Division 1 was postponed. Athletico Ascot closed the gap by one point but were made to work hard in their 4-4 draw with Athletico Forest, that being Forest’s first league point of the season. Bracknell Athletic’s miserable start to the season continues, going down 0-2 to Crowthorne FC.
Bearwood Wanderers stay top in Division 2 but slipped to a goalless draw with Newbold. Winnersh Rangers continued their undefeated start to their season with a 3-1 win against Panthers Reserves who remain rooted to the bottom of the table. William Twigg moved third with a 4-1 win away at Ashridge Park Royals. Twigg’s scorers were Joe Cumner (3) and James Rogers.

In the top o the table clash in Division 3, AFC Dukes moved 3 points clear at the top following their 8-3 win against Silver Birch. Winnersh Town moved into second place following their 6-0 away win at Bracknell Saint Germain.
Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves made it 4 wins from 4 in Division 4 and stay top after thumping Bracknell Titans 16-0 (that included 4 goals by Jacques and 3 by Gratton, and 2 by keeper Davies according to Twitter!!).
FC Showcase’s fixture with Silver Birch A fell foul to the weather. The game between Bracknell Royals and AFC Dukes was abandoned following a serious injury to Dukes player Darron Love.
