The weather put paid to a vast number of fixtures across the Southern Region Women’s Football League and Thames Valley Counties Women’s League programme on Sunday.

In the SRWFL Premier Division Ascot United did get their game completed at Oxford City but they were beaten 4-2 despite goals from Georgia Bowers and Sarah Davern.

The Yellawomen have one game scheduled for the remainder of 2018, the visit of Wincester City Flyers next weekend.

Elsewhere, Woodley United’s Premier game at Southampton was postponed as well as Wargrave at Sandhurst Town and Wokingham & Emmbrook at Southampton Womens Development, both in Division 1.

In the TVCWFL Division 2 East, Binfield’s Plate game at Taplow United Reds was postponed for a second time – this time though due to a lack of players for the hosts and Ascot United Reserves.

Holyport’s game at Guildford Saints was on though, they won 4-2 at Surrey Sports Park.
