Nathan Minhas’s Ascot United career is off to a flying start after a hat trick on Tuesday night to add to a brace on Saturday at Bishop’s Cleeve.
Minhas hit three in the first half as Ascot flew to a 4-0 half time lead at the Racecourse Ground tonight against Ardley United after Trevor Mutero had opened the scoring.
The Yellamen didn’t add to their tally in the second half but they were already comfortable, for Ardley it was a case of deja vu after losing by the same scoreline to Binfield on Saturday.
Talking of Binfield, the it was a bad day at the office for the Moles who lost 4-1 at Wantage Town. The Freds led 2-0 at half time and were 4-0 up on 55 minutes with Danny Horscroft pulling one back on 87 minutes.
At Stag Meadow Windsor made up for their opening day disappointment with a big 6-1 win over Shrivenham. Keaton August struck twice while Matt Stockill, Jamie Di Giuseppe and Dan Roberts also got on the score sheet.
Virginia Water earned their first Hellenic Premier Division point after a 1-1 draw at Flackwell Heath thanks to a Liam Whyte equaliser.
