Flackwell Heath are top of the Suburban Football League Central Division after a 2-1 win over Bracknell Town at Larges Lane on Saturday.
The Robins were able to field first team players Adam Cornell, Joe Gater, Khalid Senussi and Kensley Maloney after the Hellenic League trip to Fairford Town was postponed, but the quartet weren’t able to halt the Heathens going top courtesy of a plus one goal difference.
Flackwell lead the game 1-0 after quarter of an hour but Dan Roberts levelled on 42 minutes with the visitors taking the lead for a second time three minutes after the half time break.
Ascot United made it two wins a row when they beat bottom side Eversley & California 2-1 thanks to goals from Joshua Hillman and Harvey Beales after Daniel Crozier had given the Boars a 1-0 lead.
If results go in their favour at the weekend, Binfield could be third in the Premier Division but they’ll need to defeat third placed Maidenhead United at Hill Farm Lane on Saturday while Bracknell Town have a quick-fire away day double at Eversley & California and Dunstable Town.
