FC Meta continued their impressive season so far by defeating holders Morale Madrid in the quarter final of the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Senior Cup, winning 3-0 and in doing so become the first team through to the last 4 of the competition.
Warfield United, Woodley Saints and Bearwood Wanderers all secured their semi-final berths in the League Junior Cup. Warfield defeated close league challengers Athletico Ascot by 2-0 whilst Woodley Saints, of Division 3, caused the upset of the round by defeating Ashridge Park Royals (of division 2) by 6-0. The other tie went pretty much to form as Bearwood Wanderers defeated Silver Birch, both of Division 3, by 2-1.
The one remaining County Junior Cup 3rd round tie involving Bracknell teams was played and resulted in a convincing 4-1 win for Raglan against Sandhurst FFC.
Finchampstead Athletic won the top game in the Premier Division by defeating William Twigg Vets 3-2. That win moves Finch ominously into 3rd position just 3 points behind Twigg and 8 behind Crowthorne Inn and have 3 games in hand over both. Crowthorne Inn consolidated their position at the top of the table with a 3-1 win away to Bracknell Cavaliers.

The gap at the top of Division 1 remains 10 points as top team WAB were awarded a walk-over win against Ashridge Park whilst 2nd placed Lovememan United won comfortably by 3-0 against close challengers AFC Crowthorne. Loveman’s goal scorers were Ben Poynter, Lee Blackman and Sean Cahill. The one remaining game in the Division finished all square (2-2) between Berkshire All Stars and Hurricanes.
Woodley United moved to within a point of Warfield United at the top of Division 2 with a 5-2 win away at Braybrooke Wanderers. Berks County maintained their challenge in 4th position with a 4-1 win against an inconsistent Newbold College side. The one remaining game played in the Division saw Bracknell Athletic and Bracknell Saint Germain share 6 goals in a 3-3 draw.
Bracknell Corinthians won the top fixture in Division 3 with a 4-1 win away to Winnersh Town. That win closes the gap to 5 points on WAB Reserves and Corinthians have 2 games in hand over the leaders.
Silver Birch A remain top of Division 4 following their 2-0 win against Finchampstead Athletic A whilst Bracknell Royals stay 2nd, 4 points behind Birch, following their 3-2 win against Crownwood Dukes whose challenge seems to have fallen away following a run of recent poor results. Concluding the Division’s fixtures, Whitegrove Pythons edged an epic 10-goal thriller by 6-4 against Bracknell Titans.
