Bracknell Town moved top of the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division with victory over previous leaders Flackwell Heath today.

After Chris Grace had denied Dan Rapley, the Robins struck two first half goals through Philip John and then George Short who curled in from the edge of the box.

Flackwell were awarded a penalty when Joe Gater handled ten minutes in the second period and Dean Allen confidently stroked it right in the corner.

It wasn’t Gater’s day as he was then dismissed for a second yellow but substitute Jon Bennett secured the win in stoppage time when he rounded goalkeeper David Lyons and slotted into the net but there was still time for Allen to score his second as the visitors came up just short.

Binfield recorded back to back wins after seeing off struggling Burnham 4-1.

Harry Lee headed the Moles in front before the hosts levelled shortly after half-time.

Josh Howell was then dismissed for a reckless tackle but it mattered not as new signing Alex Colverd struck twice and Carlo Santoro completed the scoring.

In the Buildbase FA Vase, Windsor were the only local side to progress as they defeated Devizes Town 2-1.

Barry Hayles opened the scoring before Jack Denton danced through the defence and slipped the ball to Nadir Shafi who doubled the advantage.

Devizes replied courtesy of a stunning Robbie Mitchell strike but it wasn’t enough.

Highmoor Ibis exited the competition losing 1-0 at Abingdon United who had experienced Graham Edney to thank whilst AFC Aldermaston’s first ever FA competition match ended in a 3-2 defeat against Romsey Town.

Ascot United and Woodley United both play tomorrow in the FA Vase with the Yellamen hosting Farnham Town and Woodley travelling to Oxford City Nomads. Both matches kick-off at 3pm.

In the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East, two unbeaten sides faced off when Wokingham & Emmbrook hosted Penn & Tylers Green but it was Penn who remain unbeaten following a 2-1 win with the Sumas goal being scored by Sam Lawrence.

Sandhurst Town were on fire thrashing Chinnor 6-0.

Freddie Baron scored before new signing Charlie Oakley added two more with the Fizzers in control at half-time.

Adam Barnard had his penalty saved but Kylo Atkinson followed up the rebound with Miley Lee and Harry Wilcox completing the scoring.

Virginia Water travelled to Thame Rangers and came away with a point following a 1-1 draw.

In the Thames Valley Premier League, current champions Reading YMCA comfortably beat Berks County 4-0.
