All you need to know about the FA Youth Cup Second Qualifying Round – dates, draw and teams

The draw for the 2025/26 FA Youth Cup Second Qualifying Round is due on Friday after a week of intensive First Qualifying Round fixtures.

At the time of writing in Berkshire, Bracknell Town are through after beating Abingdon United on Monday evening, but there are fixtures to come involving Windsor & Eton, Maidenhead United and Slough Town as well as Binfield vs Thatcham Town on Thursday.

Who’s in the FA Youth Cup Second Qualifying Round draw?

Youth and under 18 teams associated with top-tier Enterprise National League sides will enter at the Second Qualifying Round stage, though there will be no Braintree Town or Scunthorpe United in the draw as neither side entered.

The teams that will join are: The teams: Aldershot Town, Altrincham, Boreham Wood, Boston United, Brackley Town, Carlisle United, Eastleigh, FC Halifax Town, Forest Green Rovers, Gateshead, Hartlepool United, Morecambe, Rochdale, Solihull Moors, Southend United, Sutton United, Tamworth, Truro City, Wealdstone, Woking, Yeovil Town, York City.

As it stands, Binfield, Bracknell Town, Maidenhead United, Slough Town, Thatcham Town and Windsor & Eton are all ‘in the hat’ for the Second Qualifying Round draw.

When is the FA Youth Cup Second Qualifying Round draw?

The FA has confirmed the FA Youth Cup Second Qualifying Round will be released on Friday 19th September at 1pm.

When will Second Qualifying Round matches be played, and what is the prize money on offer?

FA Youth Cup Second Qualifying Round matches are due to take place week commencing Monday 29th September 2025. Full details of round dates are here.

There is no information on an FA Youth Cup prize fund available.
