Combined Counties League Division One side Langley have appointed Mick Woodham as new manager.
The Slough-based side have moved to appoint the ex-Windsor boss after Michael East stepped down at the end of the season.
Langley won the Esoteric Recordings Division One Cup in East’s final game – a penalty shootout victory over Holmer Green following a 1-1 draw – and have turned to the experienced Woodham to fill his shoes.
Woodham has been out of management since the summer of 2023 when he departed Windsor, but has been eager to get back into the managerial hot-seat since then.

A statement released by Langley on the appointment said: “Langley FC is pleased to confirm the appointment of Mick Woodham as First Team Manager.
“Mick arrives at the club with a wealth of experience in non-league football, having managed at various levels. His background includes a highly regarded spell in charge of Windsor FC, where he earned a reputation for building competitive squads and delivering consistent results.
“The club believes Mick’s knowledge of the game, tactical acumen, and familiarity with the local football landscape make him the ideal candidate to lead the club into the next phase of our development.
“Preparations for the upcoming season are already underway, and further updates regarding the coaching staff and pre-season schedule will be shared in due course.
“Langley FC welcomes Mick to the club and looks forward to a positive and progressive campaign ahead.”

In 2017/18 he took Windsor to the Quarter Finals of the FA Vase where they were beaten by eventual finalists Stockton Town. The following season Woodham’s men reached the fifth round and the Final of the Hellenic League Challenge Cup.
As a manager, Woodham has been in charge of Bracknell Town, Staines Town and two spells with Windsor.
