The 2024/25 FA Cup will be two games old but the end of Saturday 17th August with the Qualifying Rounds next up, specifically the First Qualifying Round.
Seven Berkshire sides are in the Preliminary Round and one will definitely advance with Virginia Water hosting Ascot United at Arbour Park in Slough (we count VW as an adopted Berks club).
Reading City, Wallingford & Crowmarsh, Virginia Water, Ascot United, Sandhurst Town, Thatcham Town and Binfield are all in with a chance of being in the hat and will be joined by all the Step 3 sides – including Bracknell Town and Hungerford Town for the first time.
Both sides were exempt due to status until the First Qualifying Round.
So when is the FA Cup First Qualifying Round draw?
There has been no confirmation as yet, but traditionally the early round draws are released at 1pm on the Monday following the previous round, in this case Monday 19th August 2024.
The draws are released on the FA website and pushed out across FA social channels. Football in Berkshire will have coverage of the ties and Preliminary Round replays.
2024/25 FA Cup First Qualifying Round ties are due to be played on the weekend of Saturday 31st August 2024.
