Reading FC Women goalkeeper Eve Annets is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Young Player of the Season (Female).

Annets has a bright future in the game – we hope with Reading FC Women and is already the proud owner of silverware this season.

The nomination we received for this award said: “Just turned 18 years of age, Eve has proven to be a valuable member of the Reading FC Women’s U21’s side that is on the verge of winning their league. Eve was fundamental in helping Reading lift the Berks & Bucks Cup with two crucial saves in the penalty shoot-out earning her Player of the Match, and has broken through to represent the first team this season (including another penalty shoot-out winning saves performance). Critically, Eve has represented England Women’s U19’s several times as a 17-year-old this season conceding just one goal so far in her many appearances.”
