Things at Reading seem pretty bleak across the board right now as the club looks rife with uncertainty in every aspect of its operations.
So in a bid to bring some light to the Royals, we asked the fans of the women’s team to nominate their ‘Player of the Season’, and they didn’t disappoint. We will however caveat this with the fact they’re not given that option like fans of the men’s team are so Football in Berkshire are here to ‘plug the gap’.
We’ll reveal all the players who received nominations before we identify who the winner was.
Both Jackie Burns and Grace Moloney received honourable mentions.
“Unreal in position, saving penalties, dedicated”

A third place finish for Welsh midfield maestro, Rachel Rowe whose been nothing short of an engine for the Royals and popped up with some sensational goals in the process.

But the player to have impressed Reading fans the most, also found herself joint top goalscorer, with four goals, after a position change that saw her pushed further upfield, much like in the Danish national team.
