After what seems like 800 days, there are just two left of January 2023 which means, it is time for Goal of the Month to set out its stall and open for business.
It may seem like there wasn’t a huge amount of football, but we’ve seen a lot of good goals fly in this month as teams got games on by hook or by crook.
We’re looking for your worldies, your screamers and your downright Kacpers in the Double-Barrelled Brewery January Goal of the Month competition.
A Kacper? That’s Kacper Malinowski – winner of the August competition – with his frankly filthy back-heeled chip for AFC Aldermaston against Woodley United (you can watch it here).
Here’s what December’s winner looked like before we get down to the nitty-gritty of nominations:
So who’s next in line for Goal of the Month in January? We’ll once again have a guest judge (thanks for December Neil Baker), and a public vote to generate a winner. Let us know and be in with a chance of a) being named Football in Berkshire’s January Goal of the Month winner and b) take home a four-pack of the excellent Ding Keller Lager.
About Ding Keller Lager
Brewed in Reading on the edge of The Rivermoor Ground, Ding is a naturally hazy 4.9% Keller Lager. Read more about Ding on the Double-Barrelled Brewery website here.
