Owing to a second nationwide lockdown amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the football season was once again paused. Putting a halt to all bar the FA WSL and Championship in the Women’s Football Pyramid.
This included the increasingly competitive FA Cup as the Third Round Qualifying, First Round Proper and Second Round Proper were all due to take place during November.
Upon confirmation from the government, and subsequently the FA, that football will make it’s return, new dates have since been released with cup fixtures resuming on the 6th of December with the rest of the fixture dates as follows:
First Round Proper Sunday 13 December 2020
Second Round Proper Sunday 3 January 2021
Third Round Proper Sunday 17 January 2021
Fourth round proper Sunday 31 January 2021
Fifth round proper Sunday 28 February 2021
Quarter-final Sunday 21 March 2021
Semi-final Sunday 18 April 2021
Final Saturday 22 May 2021

The Magpies faced the Essex side in the FA Women’s National League Cup in the 2018/19 season. A day to be forgotten as they were beaten 10-1.
Reading FC Women will make their first appearance in the competition when they enter at the 4th round proper.
