The 2020/21 FA Cup round dates have been released

Hot on the heals of the delayed 2019/20 FA Cup Final, the dates for the 2020/21 competition have been revealed, or at least the early rounds have.

The competition will start on a Tuesday night – the 1st September and dates have been confirmed right through to the Fourth Qualifying Round in October.

The dates in full are:

• Extra Preliminary Round – Tuesday 1st September
• Preliminary Round – Saturday 12th September
• First Qualifying Round – Tuesday 22nd September
• Second Qualifying Round – Saturday 3rd October
• Third Qualifying Round – Tuesday 13th October
• Fourth Qualifying Round – Saturday 24th October

The qualifying rounds are been squeezed in to a shorter time frame than usual with the traditional Saturday afternoon dates affected and an unusual Tuesday night start.
