Early June is ordinarily a quiet time for non-league football. The leagues long concluded, cup winners decided and player registration documents are still a few weeks away. This situation has been exacerbated by the Covid-19 crisis. Despite this, we’d like to bring you some short news items from slightly outside of Berkshire from leagues that include Berkshire clubs.

Colliers Wood United have been granted £20,000 from the Football Foundation. This will allow them to install a new turnstile, improve their pitch and create an additional access gate.

A ground-move is on the cards for Combined Counties League Premier side Balham. They had spent the 2019/2020 season sharing at Colliers Wood United, however they have opted to make a move to Croydon this summer and will be playing home matches at Croydon Athletic in 2020/2021.

Combined Counties Division One side Farnham Town are to give children the chance to design their new kit. What’s the worst that could happen? Details of the competition can be found here.

Bedfont & Feltham manager Emil Kot has taken the step up from Combined Counties Division One to the Premier Division. He will be coaching Balham when the 2020/2021 season begins.
