Carl Withers and Jamie McClurg will have an experienced coaching team alongside them as they embark on a first season in management, as the joint bosses of Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division Binfield.

The Moles have installed former Bracknell Town boss Geoff Warner as coach and appointed Tony Perry as goalkeeper coach to work with Chris Grace.

McClurg described the appointment of Warner as “an automatic choice” following the announcement.

Speaking to Football in Berkshire, he said: “As young managers you want to work with people you trust, with people who have the same ideas on football as you. Geoff was an automatic choice. We love working with each other.

“During our time at Bracknell, as players and manager, we were very close. For me and Withs, Geoff was someone we really wanted.

“We’ve also got Tony Perry in, he’s worked with Chris Grace for years and they have a close relationship.”

The news of Warner’s arrival at Hill Farm Lane was announced on the Moles website on Wednesday morning. You can read more about the appointment here.
