BetVictor Southern League South side Thatcham Town face a big night in the race for the league title when they visit second placed Frome Town on Tuesday night.
The Kingfishers go in to the game off the back of some indifferent form having lost only three games all season – two of those coming in the last three against Melksham Town and Bristol Manor Farm.
Speaking to Football in Berkshire previously, Thatcham boss Danny Robinson had highlighted Manor Farm as his bogey team before going on and winning 3-0 in the South West in December, but the Farm got their own back on Saturday at Waterside Park winning 2-1.
Not the ideal preparation for a top of the table clash that has seen Thatcham and Frome switch places on several occasion. The Blues currently have the upper hand – two points clear with a game in hand and Robinson is able to call on several returning players.

Speaking to FiB on Tuesday morning he said: “Paul Strudley is back in goal after Archie Matthews deputised on Saturday. We’ve also got Ben Miller, Jon Beeden and Sam Barder all back in the squad after missing Saturday’s game.”
Frome themsleves have been hit by a couple of league defeats in recent weeks, three in the last six games but there was a return to form in front of goal with a 3-0 win at home to AFC Totton.
