Holyport’s ‘rock’ nominated for Bracknell Football Award

Holyport defender Adam Sharp has been nominated for an EPC Bracknell Football Award in the category of men’s player of the season.

Sharp was a key member of Derek Sweetman’s side that finished fourth in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East and reached the semi final of the Subsidiary Cup as well as the First Round of the Buildbase FA Vase.

The nomination reads: “Adam played 39 games for Holyport at centre back, no bookings all season, played injured 50% of the tim. Collected players player and managers player at the end of season awards. Was a rock for Port this season.”
