Hey everyone, a quick pre New Year message from us.

It’s been a really good year, we’ve got more people writing for Football in Bracknell and more people taking pictures, all volunteering their time which is incredible.

116,400 people looked at the site over the last 12 months which is an increase of 12,000 on last year.

Our WhatsApp group has now become a cracking little community with people from most clubs and a lot of different levels involved and is a hive of activity.

On the pitch it’s been a pretty good time to cover the game in this area. Bracknell Town’s promotion, Binfield winning the Floodlit Cup (not forgetting Thatcham Town in the FA Vase), the rebuild at Ascot United and the impressive progression of both Ascot and Woodley United’s ladies teams. There’s a lot to be excited about going in to next year.

As for FiB, we remain committed to promoting the non league and grassroots game in Bracknell and Berkshire, as up to the minute as we possibly can and we hope you’ll stick with us.

We’re always looking for new writers and ideas though on the team, whether it’s been a long held ambition or just something you fancy having a go at, get in touch with Tom.

In 2019 our awards will be back with EPC and we’ll hopefully have a few other surprises including a podcast in the works and possibly a little bit of a redesign.

Finally, the thank you’s. Thank you to everyone who’s backed the #cmonduds campaign. Our mate is making improvements and I know how important all the support has been to get him this far.

Thank you to all our written contributors, Tony Hardy, Steve Gabb, Rob Davies and The Insider.

Thank you to our photographers, particularly Neil Graham who appears tireless but also Rob Mack, Richard Milam, Peter Toft and Richard Claypole for every snap you’ve taken over the last year. The site would not look as good as it does without you.

Thank you to our supporters who pay up to keep the site going, Elite Preparation Centre, EasyBranding, Calibra Tree, Courtney Buses, Bubble Football, Nerf Gun Parties, Groundhopper app, Thames Valley Cleaning and The White Horse.

And thank you for your continued support, reading, sharing and following what we do!

Tom
