Most of you who know me (Tom) and Darrell, will know that he is fighting for his life in hospital at the moment after a third round of heart surgery.
Duds is in the best place at Royal Brompton in Chelsea and while we are under no illusions that there is an awful long way to go to have any chance of seeing him back on the terraces, we have to believe we will.
For anyone reading this that doesn’t know him, Darrell is a true hero of non league football and an absolute fountain of knowledge on the local game. He was club secretary for a lot of years at Bracknell Town and with me, setup this site that you are reading now. He is known by almost everyone at every local club and is a real ambassador for the game.
#CMONDUDS | Darrell's brother has said we can share some news. Please keep tagging #CMONDUDS, please keep sending pics and doing what you can, and if you can go and see him at Royal Brompton, please do (DM us for times). It is all helping. We want the big guy back. #CMONDUDS pic.twitter.com/xB51a47AdY

On Tuesday night, a number of people at games printed out and shared photo’s saying #CMONDUDS. We know he is fighting and we believe all the support will help him get through this ordeal.
If you are going to a game this weekend, please print a copy of the A4 poster you can download here and get a picture of yourself on the terraces. Make sure you use #CMONDUDS when you post on social media so we can tell Duds brother who will pass it on.
The amount of response already has been overwhelming, we can’t stop now.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Darrell’s brother Ash is also raising money for the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity. If you would like to make a donation you can do so here.
