Wantage Town are the only Hellenic League side left in the 2018/19 FA Cup after both Binfield and Burnham were beaten in the Second Qualifying Round on Saturday.
The Freds go in to the hat for the Third Qualifying Round draw on Monday afternoon in slightly unorthadox fashion after their game at Hungerford Town was abandoned in the second half.
The match has been re-arranged for Tuesday 25th September meaning Binfield’s Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Cup First Round tie away to Wantage will be re-arranged and dependant on any replay.
The game was abandoned in the 70th minute after Hungerford Town goalkeeper Jokull Andersson suffered a serious head injury during a Wantage attack.
70’ Huge chance!! Patterson through, keeper maybe gets a touch, certainly gets clatters in to. Moore-Azille makes sure with a spectacular clearance. In fact this could be quite serious for Andresson…

According to the ‘keepers parent club Reading, Andersson suffered serious head and facial injuries but after a period of observation had been discharged from Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Both Hungerford and Wantage will be in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round draw when it is released by the FA on Monday at 1pm.
