Bracknell Town striker Adam Cornell continued where he left off last season with a superb double for the Robins in their 2-0 win over Ascot United in the Hellenic Premier Division opener.

Cornell struck after 7 minutes from Dave Hancock’s cross, and again late on to make the game safe with a superb free kick you can watch in the video.

The forward scored 29 league goals last season as Bracknell narrowly missed out on the league title, but was a key part of the side that lifted three knockout competition trophies – the Berks & Bucks County Senior Trophy, Hellenic League Cup and Reading Senior Cup.

Bracknell Town had captain Carl Davies sent off in the game that was ultimately a comfortable win for the Robins. You can read Duds full report here.
