It was a tense afternoon on Saturday for everyone associated with the two clubs at the top of the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division, but this one moment swung the title chase initiative from Thame United back to Bracknell Town.
Bracknell had already done their bit at Brimscombe & Thrupp, winning 2-1 courtesy of goals from Khalid Senussi and TJ Bohane but the match eveyone was keeping an eye on – Lydney Town vs Thame – still had half an hour to play after the visitors had been caught in traffic.
Leading 2-0, it all looked over but then the magic happened – Pat Gibbs pulled one back for Lydney and then this belter from Sir Peter Macklin..
Some people on are on the pitch, they think it's all over…It is now!!@LydneyTownAFC 2- 2 #overtoyou @bracknelltownfc pic.twitter.com/MwFlWI68zi

What it means is that Bracknell are back on top by virtue of a 7+ goal difference. They must beat Highworth Town in the final game on Saturday to lift the title and hope that Thame don’t turn around the goal difference against Henley Town – a not impossible feat going by Saturday’s results.
