Five of the eight second round Reading Senior Cup ties have now been played, so we thought we’d take a look at how we expect the Quarter Finals to line up.

Please be aware that no official draw has been made, we are simply following the process of the cup ladder on the FA’s Full Time website. However, this is the usual format for the competition so we expect no different this year.

With seventeen teams in the competition, the only first round match saw Holyport beat Berks County 4-3 after extra time to join fifteen other teams in making the second round (last sixteen).

In the second round, Ascot United defeated Rotherfield United whilst the other ties that have taken place saw holders Henley Town beat Hurst 2-1, Bracknell Town beat Westwood United 6-2, Mortimer beat Newbury Town 4-2 and Finchampstead beat Marlow United 1-0.

That leaves the expected Reading Invitation Challenge Cup quarter finals line up as follows:

  • Holyport OR Binfield vs Ascot United
  • Finchampstead vs Highmoor-IBIS OR Woodcote Stoke Row
  • Wokingham & Emmbrook OR Woodley United vs Henley Town
  • Bracknell Town vs Mortimer
