Bracknell Town defender Callum Whitty’s viral ‘clearance’ video has earned the versatile Robin a slot on Sky Sports SoccerAM show at the weekend.
The video by Mike Watkins shows Whitty attempting a clearance from team mate John Gray’s header but inadvertently see’s the ball cannon back in to his face and out for a throw in.
Here’s the original story.
It’s been a rollercoaster few weeks for Whitty, who saved a penalty in the FA Vase defeat at Croydon – stepping up between the sticks after Chris Grace was sent off.

And last season we awarded him the Hellenic League’s ‘best beard’ with this effort.

We spoke to the videos producer Mike who said: “Of all the videos of amazing goals and try’s [we assume for rugby] I post some poor bugger doing this goes viral. B****y typical.
“The crowd loved it because he was laughing afterwards. Need more of this in football.”
