Binfield boss Roger Herridge is in a confident mood as he tries to lift the Reading Senior Cup at the second time of asking on Thursday night at Madejski Stadium, Reading.
The Moles boss was thwarted by his former club Wokingham & Emmbrook in the final last season but got revenge in the quarter-finals this time out courtesy of a late Jean-Claude Etienne strike at Hill Farm Lane.
Binfield take on Hellenic League Division 1 East side Henley Town on Thursday, a match that will be covered in full by FootballinBracknell and Herridge has been speaking to the Bracknell News (on the news stands today) ahead of the tie (we will update this link with the BN article when it is online).
Forced to field a number of youngster in the semi-final against Highmoor-IBIS, the Moles boss should have Jack Broome and Chris Dean available but said: “Several of those who were missing [on Saturday] are still away, but I think Jack and Chris could be available, so I certainly have a few decisions to make before naming the team.
“I’m confident we have enough quality in the dressing room to get the result and hopefully we can end the season on a high.”

The Moles opponents are expecting to be back in the Hellenic Premier Division next season after champions Penn & Tylers Green, and runners-up Bicester Town were unable to take promotion – and the Red Kites have already beaten higher league opposition in league cup competitions this season.
FootballinBracknell will be live blogging and streaming the final from Madejski Stadium on Thursday evening technology permitting. You’ll be able to keep up with all the action on our Reading Senior Cup page here and via our facebook page here:
