Bracknell Sunday League Senior and Junior Cups kick off

Theres’s one League Senior Cup (Sponsored by Advantage Printroom) first round tie this weekend with Morale Madrid, of the Premier Division, hosting Bracknell Athletic of Division 1.

Athletic have struggled to get their league campaign started so far and a win could kick-start their season. Their opponents too have started their season inconsistently and have drawn 2 and lost 1 of their opening 3 games.

The only other first round tie (all other teams in the Premier and Division 1 have been drawn byes) is to be played next Sunday between Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW and Winkfield, both of Division 1.

There’s a full round of 16 first round ties in the Leagues Junior Cup. Stand-out ties see William Twigg of Division 2 take on in-form Bracknell Royals of Division 4, FC Harmanswater of Division 3 take on Division 4 joint-leaders FC Showcase whilst an all-Division 2 tie sees Ashridge Park Royals entertain Winnersh Rangers.

There could be another change at the top of the Premier Division this weekend. Current leaders Crowthorne Inn don’t play and Bracknell Rangers will go top if they were to overcome Raglan. Elsewhere, Loveman United take on Berks County with both looking for their first wins and reigning champions FC Fernhill host a resurgent Panthers side.

Division 1 leaders Woodley Saints will look to make it five wins out of 5 but face a tough challenge from Finchampstead Athletic. Elsewhere Athletico Ascot, in second, host Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW whilst third placed Sandhurst FFC play Crowthorne FC away. The Divisions other fixture pits Winkfield, seeking their first points, against Woodley United.
