Ascot United host Headington Amateurs on Tuesday night in one of the few Berkshire fixtures on what will almost certainly be one of the coldest match nights of the 2018/19 season so far.
The Yellamen face the Hellenic League Division 2 West side in the Second Round of the Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Challenge Cup at the Racecourse Ground off the back of a 1-1 top of the table draw in the Premier Division with Brackley Town Saints.
Talking of Saints, they play host to Binfield in Northamptonshire on Wednesday night with the Moles on a decent bit of form while on Tuesday Windsor host Holmer Green hoping to make it back to back wins in the league for the first time since mid-December.
Elsewhere there’s a derby clash at step 6 as Combined Counties League Division One sides Sandhurst Town and Eversley & California meet in the Aldershot Senior Cup.
Bracknell’s FA Trophy away day
Across in West Sussex, Bracknell Town travel to Bostik League Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town for an FA Trophy First Qualifying Round replay having been moments from a famous win on Saturday.
Bracknell led 2-1 when a 92nd minute equaliser earned the higher division Rocks a second bite at the cherry. The two sides have previous having met twice during an FA Cup Preliminary Round tie that saw a 3-3 draw at Larges Lane with Bognor winning the replay 5-0.
During the 2002/03 season though, the Robins were the only side to do the double over the Rocks who were then, as they are now managed by Jack Pearce.
