A big test for Bracknell Town on Tuesday evening as the Robins head to Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town in the Second Round of the Berks & Bucks County Senior Cup (ko 7.45pm).
It’s fair to say the Robins unbelievable run of free-scoring victories (7-0, 7-0 and 8-0) will end at Bulpit Lane on Tuesday night, but you wouldn’t bet against them having the confidence to get past the Crusaders who are on a run of three straight defeats.
The two clubs met in pre season at Larges Lane with Hungerford taking a 2-1 victory and at the risk of contradiction will be favourites going in to the game given the two division gap between the sides. Bracknell may also bump in to a former teammate – Diak John, who recently resigned for the West Berkshire side.
Really impressive last few games for Bracknell Town. 7-0, 7-0 and 8-0 victories in succession. Hungerford away in the Berks and Bucks Cup on Tuesday should be an interesting test.

The match should be a competitive one, Hungerford embodying a lot of what ambitious Bracknell want to achieve. The Crusaders worked their way up the divisions since winning the Hellenic Premier in 2009 and were promoted to the National League South via the play-offs at the end of the 2015/16 season.
The winners of the tie have been drawn at home to either Slough Town or Wantage Town in the Quarter Finals of the competition – the full draw is here.

Woodley United are also in action on Tuesday night – in the Reading Senior Cup having already booked a quarter final berth in the County Cup.
The Kestrels make the relatively short trip to Windsor’s Stag Meadow to take on Division 1 East promotion challengers Virginia Water who are unbeaten in 11 games – winning seven of those.
