Sandhurst Town can extend Allied Counties Premier lead with Ascot win

Sandhurst Town make the short trip to Ascot United on Thursday night in the Allied Counties Youth League Premier Division bidding to extend their lead at the top of the table (ko 7.45pm).

The young Fizzers are unbeaten and have maximum points in the division this season – only reigning champions Maidenhead United can match that record but are two games behind.

Sandhurst have won their last three league games scoring 17 in the process while the Yellamen have scored 12 in their last two.

United though are down in sixth with three wins and four defeats from their seven league games.

The Fizzers are due to meet Maidenhead for the first time at York Road on 30th November, with the return at Bottom Meadow set for 30th January.

In the South Division, Bracknell Town at home to Alton Town and Binfield at Westfield have both been postponed.
