Combined Counties League Premier Division North Burnham have announced the departure of manager Ben Murray and his assistant Kavi Luchowa.
Burnham finished fourth in 22/23 and sixth last season narrowly missing out on a play-off spot. At the time of Murray’s departure the blues are in 10th place with five wins, a draw and two defeats.
In the summer Burnham saw second top scorer Anas Igozouln depart for Ascot United but the Bucks side did hold on to top-scorer Jabir Laraba.
A statement released by the club said: “After working together across the past three seasons Burnham Football Club would like to confirm the departure of first team manager Ben Murray and his assistant Kavi Luchowa, by mutual agreement. Following recent discussions around visions and expectations for the future it became apparent that the Club and management team were not aligned and it was agreed to part ways. The Club would like to thank Ben and Kavi for their body of work since joining the Blues in January 2022 and we wish them all the very best for the future.”
According to the club website, Omar El-Bakali has been placed in chaarge of first team affairs.
