Chalvey Sports appoint new boss

The Stabmonks saw Darren Purbrick depart last week

Chalvey Sports FC have had a difficult season in the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties Division One. They find themselves in 18th position, having won only five league fixtures so far this term.

Chairman Scott Young has moved quickly to try and improve their fortunes with the appointment of Carl Feasey as manager of the first team, following the departure of Darren Purbrick.

In Feasey’s first game in charge on Saturday the Stabmonks lost 3-1 at Enfield Borough.

Feasey will certainly be looking for improvement from his side with the Stabmonks now having lost their last seven matches, their last league win coming against Rayners Lane in early December.

Chalvey Sports still have matches against local rivals Berks County, Langley and Sandhurst Town to play before the end of the season.
