Binfield Football Club will enjoy a moment in the spotlight on Saturday 22nd May when the club heads to Wembley Stadium for the final of the 2020/21 Buildbase FA Vase.
The Moles have travelled thousands of miles without playing a single game at home during their run to the final, scored 14 goals and won four penalty shootouts.
They will play the winners of the semi-final taking place on Saturday 15th May between Warrington Rylands and Walsall Wood.
It’s fair to say, excitement is building in the village, and plans are afoot to mark the occasion with locals, businesses and schools getting involved in the excitement.
The live blog below will pull through all the latest news and social media posts to try and give you a flavour of everything that is happening. The blog is running across Football in Berkshire, the Binfield FC website and Wokingham.Today. It is kindly sponsored by The Footballer’s Injury & Rehab Coach – a business run by former Binfield striker Ian Davies.
