Pitching In Southern League side Thatcham Town have launched a unique fundraiser for supporters as efforts to raise funds for a new artificial training pitch at Waterside Park click in to gear.

The club are offering supporters the chance to have their name woven in to the 2021/22 Macron produced kit that will be worn by the team next season for as little as £20.

Thatcham, who famously won the FA Vase under the Wembley arch in 2018, are hoping to fulfil a 30-year ambition at the club by installing an artificial training pitch within the clubs 10-acre facility in West Berkshire. The pitch will be of huge benefit to the club, freeing up training slots in the local area and be available for use by the community.

In a statement on the club website, Commercial Manager Ben Harte said: “This would be the perfect birthday or Christmas gift for a loved one.

“All proceeds will be going towards the artificial pitch project and will be match funded by the Greenham Common Trust.”

There are two options, with £20 seeing a supporters name added to the shirt, while a second option of £60 includes a replica shirt.

Please contact Ben Harte on commercialmanager@thatchamtown.com to place an order and how to make payment.
