BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town have suffered an injury blow to striker Shane Cooper-Clark.
The forward, who rejoined the Robins in the summer from Thatcham Town is expected to be on the sidelines for ‘a while’ according to the club.
Academy Director Stephen Peters confirmed the news to Football in Berkshire on Wednesday afternoon.
He said: “Shane has hyper-extended his knee, we have not received full diagnosis as yet, but it may mean he will be sidelined for a while.”
Cooper-Clark has already missed a chunk of the season with injury and has only made five appearances this season after a hugely impressive pre season and had been dual registered with Uhlsport Hellenic League Windsor to build up his fitness.
The Robins had already lost striker Lee Barney after five minutes of a pre season friendly with Maidenhead United, and the former Hayes & Yeading United title winner has subsequently been forced to retire.
There was some good news for Robins supporters though with the return of crowd favourite Kensley Maloney.
