AFC Aldermaston have tweeted on Friday morning that manager Kieran Jennings has left the club.

The Atom Men have started the Hellenic League Division 1 East season with two wins from two league games and are due to host Didcot Town Development at the Rec Soc on Saturday.

A tweeted statement by the West Berkshire club reads: “AFC Aldermaston first team coach and manager Kieran Jennings has left the club.

“The club chairman passes on his sincere thanks to Kieran for his 3 plus years at the club, where he worked hard and enthusiastically to improve the club.

“We wish him very well for the future. The club committee will discuss its next steps to find a replacement over the next few days. In the mean time our first team support staff will manage training and games. We expect to make a decision in the very near future.”

Jennings led the Atom Men to a 7th place finish in 2016/17 – the clubs first in the Hellenic League since 1985/86 and 11th place last season.
