We’ve spoke to Bracknell Town on Monday morning and the club have confirmed arrangements for Saturday’s Buildbase FA Vase home Quarter Final tie against Marske United.

It could be argued that Saturday represent’s the biggest game in the clubs history, though many will say the 2000/01 season and an FA Cup First Round Proper tie at Lincoln City was the bigger but we’ll leave supporters to debate this.

One thing for certain is that its the biggest game that Larges Lane has seen since the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie in 2003/04 when the Robins hosted Barnet witnessed by over a 1000 spectators.

Details for Saturday’s game are as follows:

Car Parking

The club car park at Larges Lane is for use by players and officials only – no spectator parking available (indicated in BLUE in the below parking plan).

There is limited parking at Bracknell Cricket Club and also at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Primary School (indicated in RED in the below parking plan). Please note this parking is £5 per vehicle.

There is FREE parking at Bracknell & Wokingham College just around the corner from Larges Lane and accessed via Church Road (indicated in YELLOW in the below parking plan). The club are requesting that wherever possible that people use public transport or park at the college.

Admission and turnstiles

Entry prices have been set at £6 for adults, £4 for OAP’s with FREE entry for U16. Programmes are available on the turnstile for £1 (whilst availability lasts).

All three turnstiles will be open but please arrive as early as possible. Even with all three turnstiles open if 100 people turn up at once, it will take some time to get into the ground.

Once inside the ground please feel free to use the facilities. There is no crowd segregation but plenty of stewards on hand to assist people.

Bar

The main clubhouse bar will be open from midday although please note all of the furniture will be removed so more people can fit in the bar area.

There will be an additional bar tent in the car park selling canned drinks.

Catering

There will be a mobile catering van situated in the car park selling the usual football fayre (burgers, chips etc) and also hot drinks.

Toilets

In addition to the toilets inside the clubhouse, there will be six portaloo’s situated in the car park to hopefully assist with the expected higher crowd numbers.

Inside the ground and stewards

Please remember that as a supporter you are representing the club so please be courteous and respectful to others (no foul language etc).

There will be plenty of stewards at the game (provided in partnership with the college) so please ask them if you require anything and please follow any instructions issued by the stewarding team.

The match

If the scores are level after ninety minutes then a 30 minute period of extra time will be played. If the scores are still level after extra time then the tie will go to a replay to be played at Marske United next Saturday 3rd March.

KEY POINTS

  • Please use public transport where possible or park at Bracknell & Wokingham College to respect BTFC’s local neighbours. Car sharing is also a plus.
  • Try to arrive as early as possible to ensure everyone can get into the ground prior to kick-off.
  • Please remember the extra amenities in the car park are there to be used.
  • Most importantly – ENJOY THE GAME
