When Woodley United kick off their debut season in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division on Tuesday 1st August, they will be backed by a familiar supporter after club secretary Mark Rozzier confirmed the Kestrels long term sponsors K J Smith Solicitors had signed up again.
The Berkshire based business – recognised as a top tier firm – will continue as shirt sponsors into the 17/18 season after an unprecedented year that saw Woodley earn promotion to the Hellenic Premier via a runners up spot and lift the Berks & Bucks County Intermediate Trophy.
In addition to entering the Premier Division this season, United will make club history with a first ever FA Cup tie in the Extra Preliminary Round at home to Premier Division rivals Tuffley Rovers.
A statement the club reads: “Woodley United field over 32 teams from mini-kicker under 4s to their men’s and women’s first teams and K J Smith Solicitors are delighted to be part of such an important part of the local community in Woodley.”
