Bracknell Town supporters enjoy their new entrance at Larges Lane

Bracknell Town’s supporters used the clubs new turnstiles for the first time on Saturday as they headed to Larges Lane for the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division fixture against Longlevens.

The Robins were 4-1 winners in their quest for the league title and have two matches left to go in their Premier Division campaign where they are vying with Thame United to finish top of the pile and earn promotion back to step four.

It has been a big season of change at Larges Lane off the pitch though with a dramatic improvement in facilities off the pitch and the latest part of the project – the new turnstiles – got a big thumbs up from young fan Luca Calvert-Brydges (pictured above).

The new entrance replaces the dilapidated but charming entrance to the ground much further up the car park and features three gates to comply with the ground grading required for promotion to step four.

We had a nostalgic look at the ‘old entrance’ and it’s secrets in a bit more depth here.

The last time we featured the turnstile block it was still under construction..
