Goalkeeper Chris Grace has returned to Bracknell Town almost a decade after leaving for first team football at Reading Town.
The goalkeeper has made the switch from Ascot United along with team mates Joe Grant, Dave Hancock and Lee Boon and will almost certainly be the clubs number one after Garry Aulsberry joined local rivals Binfield.
Grace was part of the most successful Ascot United side in the history of the club, having twice reached the quarter finals of the FA Vase in the last four seasons, they lifted the Hellenic Floodlit Cup and finished fourth in the Premier Division with the second best defensive record in the division.
He played all 52 of United’s games last season and managed 58 the previous year.

Aulsberry
The comments on the FootballinBracknell facebook page were sorry to see Aulsberry go. Barry Todd said: “A real shame that he is moving on, I wish him well where ever he is next season!”
Aulsberry’s own comments suggested Bracknell boss Mark Tallentire wanted to bring in his own man and Grace, with his ex-Ascot colleague Hancock in front him will be a tough one to beat at Larges Lane this season.
