Last weeks Bracknell News quoted Bracknell Town manager Mark Tallentire saying players were ‘queueing up’ to join the Larges Lane side ahead of the 2016/17 season.
Tallentire has already ‘signed’ former Binfield and Thatcham Town striker Ian Davies while goalkeeper Garry Aulsberry has been allowed to leave.
Speaking to the News’s Dave Wright, the Bracknell boss said: “There has been a lot of interest in players wanting to join us.
“They know there is a lot of redevelopment going on at the club and players are keen to come and be part of it – and why not?”
‘All of last seasons squad have committed’
Tallentire completed the remarkable feet of dragging the seemingly doomed Robins out of the Hellenic Premier League relegation zone with games to spare and isn’t expecting any of that side to depart – good news for fans.

Goalkeepers
In terms of replacing the popular Aulsberry, the Bracknell manager would only say that he had several replacements in mind but had been talking to ‘one in particular’.
