Watch 6-year-old Oliver Shallom’s verdict on his first ever football match

This is 6-year-old Oliver Shallom and he along with his dad Aron watched his first ever live football match on Saturday 14th January.

He saw title chasing Bracknell Town defeat visitors Tuffley Rovers 3-0 at the newly refurbished Larges Lane ground, and we asked his dad to make a quick video of his verdict.

Watch the video here:

Oliver’s dad Aron said: “He loved the day out, he’s a bit young to understand the game but loved meeting the other kids and mascots.

“He also got to play on the pitch, it was freezing cold but he got a good 40 minutes! We will be back as soon as possible.”

Speaking on the video, Oliver said his new favourite team was Bracknell, and his favourite player was goalkeeper Chris Grace, because he wants to be a ‘keeper when he grows up.
