Bracknell Town’s new signing TJ Bohane made his debut and his mark on Saturday afternoon in the 4-1 Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League win over Thatcham Town at Waterside Park.
Non league football fans certainly had a fair bit to say about the move which will see Swindon based Bohane travel at least 100 miles for a Bracknell home game but the forward with nearly 200 Hellenic League goals got off to a flying start with two goals on his debut.
Our photographer on the scene Neil Graham said of the former Highworth Town strikers debut: “What a quality signing for Bracknell Town.
“He was quick to the first and second ball, made the difference up front and also linked up well with the free scoring Adam Cornell adding an assist to his two goals.
“Alex Rodrigues looks a good signing as well, comfortable at the back and had Shane [Cooper-Clark]’s card for most of the afternoon.”
He continued: “First impression of TJ, a different class and I can see why he scores loads of goals. Went off with a slight pull though which was a worry but hopefully he’ll play at Ascot.”
At the game, Bracknell supporter Ben Martin-Dye tweeted:

But we’ll leave Robins captain Carl Davies with the last word..
Not a bad debut for @TJBohane started paying back some of that huge transfer fee already! Great win, now on to Monday #Robins
