Happy 40th Sparky! Celebrating the Sandhurst and Bracknell ledge

Local goalscoring hero Mark Anderson turned 40 yesterday so we thought we’d help the man affectionately known as ‘Sparky’ celebrate.

Anderson had two spells with Bracknell and holds the honour of being the last player the club paid money for when he was signed from the reformed Aldershot Town.

In between that he had a goal heavy spell at Sandhurst Town and also had a fruitful time with Fleet Town.

Anderson’s second spell at Bracknell lasted one season, but what an impression he made during 2006/07 alongside pacy strike partner Graham Lewis.

Of particular memory was a fine hat-trick in one of the final games of the season which you can see in the video below (best watched on mute) – goal three is about 01:22 minutes in.
