The Darrell Freeland Award for Service to the Local Game

DARRELL

A big award dedicated to the biggest personality we’ve ever known. As well as being the co-founder of Football in Berkshire, Darrell ‘Dudley’ Freeland was a colossus in the local game, first as a volunteer, then as long-serving Club Secretary at Bracknell Town.

This award is chosen by the Football in Berkshire team and awarded to a person as a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’.

We aren’t taking nominations specifically, but if there is someone you think we should consider please nominate them for the Volunteer of the Season award here.
