The Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round is set to take place over the weekend with 16 fixtures beginning with Manchester United vs Leicester City on Friday night.
Sadly non-league participation in the competition ended with Tamworth in the previous round along with the remaining Berkshire interest following Reading FC’s 3-1 defeat to Burnley.
That doesn’t mean we lose interest in the great old competition though with plenty of fascinating ties to come over the weekend, not least Plymouth Argyle hosting Liverpool or Wycombe Wanderers at Preston.
Once that’s all over though, there’s the FA Cup Fifth Round draw..
So when is the FA Cup Fifth Round draw?
The Football Association have confirmed the 2024/25 FA Cup Fifth Round draw is heading to the BBC. It will be made around 7:10pm as part of The One Show on Monday 10th February.
The draw will be presented by Kelly Somers while Alex Scott and ex-Newbury striker Theo Walcott will make the draw.
By the time the draw takes place, 14 of the 16 games will have been completed. Doncaster Rovers vs Crystal Palace and Exeter City vs Nottingham Forest are on Monday night after the draw.
