The opening fixture for Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division One side Thatcham Town has been reversed.

The Kingfishers had been due to travel to Guernsey on the 13th August in the league opener but will now face the Channel Island side in Berkshire instead with the away fixture moving to 8th January 2023.

The change has been enforced due to problems with Guernsey’s Footes Lane pitch.

The Channel Island side have also had to move their final pre season friendly with Hartley Wintney this weekend to a nearby venue.

Thatcham’s final pre season friendly this weekend sees them take on tenants AFC Aldermaston at the Ryeish Green Sports Hub (RG7 1EP).kick off is at 1pm.
