Wokingham & Emmbrook will sign off their time in the Uhlsport Hellenic League in some style after reaching the final of the Bluefin Sports Supplementary Cup.

The Sumas beat Tuffley Rovers 4-1 at Lowther Road on Sunday, a match re-arranged due to near neighbours Binfield’s involvement in the FA Vase Final on Saturday.

Wokingham lead 2-1 at the break courtesy of a brace from Brandon Curtis, the youngster was twice setup by Jack Mullan but had to be replaced at half-time due to injury.

The Berkshire sides goals didn’t dry up though as defender Joe Cummuskey made it 3-1 and Luke Scope put the icing on the cake with his sides fourth of the afternoon.

The Sumas will face Division One East rivals Abingdon United in the final after the U’s beat Malmesbury Victoria 3-2.

Joint manager Matt Eggleston tweeted after the game: Great result for Wokingham today against a side from the league above. We as a club know what is required next season and look forward to the challenge. Credit to our players and thank you for our spectators who have stuck with us.”
