Bracknell Town’s former First Team Coach Aaron Steadman has departed the club according to a post on social media.

Steadman joined the BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One side in the summer from neighbours Ascot United to join former Maidenhead United colleague Sam Lock as first team coach.

Following Lock’s departure from Bracknell last year, Steadman was part of the first team management with Mark Tallentire but according to his post on twitter, Steadman stepped away from the first team a few months ago.

Former Hungerford Town boss Bobby Wilkinson was appointed to the Robins hot seat at the start of December 2019.

He wrote on twitter: “I’ve decided to leave Bracknell Town FC. After stepping down from the first team a couple months ago, I continued in my role within the Academy. I now feel its time to move on as my desire is to get back into senior football. Thanks to everyone for giving me the opportunity.”

Steadman, who also coaches the Berks & Bucks County FA under 18 side and won the County Championship last season, was previously head coach at Combined Counties League side Ascot United.
